Job Purpose
The Global Patching & Vulnerability Specialist is responsible for managing patching and vulnerability remediation across the global IT environment. The role ensures systems remain secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise risk and regulatory requirements by governing patch coverage, prioritizing vulnerabilities, and coordinating execution across infrastructure, network, and application teams.

This role helps reduce cyber risk, protect sensitive data, support audit readiness, and enable secure business operations and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full patching lifecycle for Windows/Linux servers, network devices, and IT platforms
Plan, test, deploy, and validate patches within defined maintenance windows
Track and report patch compliance against KPIs and SLOs
Coordinate with Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams and drive change management
Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and asset criticality, including zero-day response
Improve patching processes through automation and tool optimization
Skills & Experience
3+ years in IT Operations, Infrastructure, or Vulnerability Management
Strong experience with patching and vulnerability tools (e.g. SCCM/MECM, WSUS, Ivanti, BigFix, Tenable, Qualys)
Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and network firmware
Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
Experience reporting compliance metrics and working within SLA/SLO frameworks
Exposure to cloud patching in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Familiarity with ITIL change processes
Working Conditions
On-call support and occasional out-of-hours work
Office-based role with limited travel
